Can be hung vertically or horizontally This superb very large and elaborate wide gilt, tick frame encloses this mirror, the frame has an inward downslope with elegant and deep carving ornate decoration featuring rosebuds and large scrolls. Was told that this frame dates from the mid-19th century and it can be hung withe wire with recent attached strongs rings either position, Landscape or Portrait, a very rare and wonderful piece.
