The design of this singular piece depicts an ancient Peruvian deity face from Incan in origin. This beautiful round face of this kneeled figure  represents " Inti ", the supreme Inca Sun God, often identified by a large, semi-circular headdress. With its blue eyed ornament of inlay lapis stones is often appearing  in Incan art and iconography.  High quality in .925 Silver for this important character Flying over the Ocean waves with a crescent moon. 

IThe creation of this unique box it's attributed to the renowned Peruvian silversmith Graziella Laffi.   Pieces like this one, brings to her jewelry  awards and international recognition. This intrincated abstraction is  impressive and showcases the artistry that made her one of Peru's most celebrated jewelry designers.

 Working throughout the mid-20th century, Laffi became famous for incorporating Peruvian history, wildlife, and pre-Columbian influences into her silver creations. 
Her work is highly collectible, museum worthy and admired worldwide.
